We aim to support Street Children in Uganda by raising money and awareness of the desperate challenges that vulnerable children in Uganda face.
Welcome to the ARK website!
The ARK - which stands for Acts of Random Kindness - is a Gift and Card shop on Paisley Road West in the Craigton area of Glasgow and is an exciting new project which aims to raise awareness and funding for street children and orphans in Uganda. All the profits from the shop will go directly to Uganda. The ARK is closely linked to Hillington Park Church of Scotland in Cardonald and is run by volunteers from the church and community.
Our link in Uganda is a project called Dwelling Places which is a Non-government organisation who rescue street children and give them a home, an education and a future.
